Too many wars at a time
Is there a stalemate in Ukraine? What is the end of war should look like?
There has been a lot of talk lately about what strategies for ending the war in Ukraine exist, and whether there are any at all. Joe Biden's approach to «support Ukraine as long as it takes» is not appropriate for many, as the Russian army has a serious advantage after Ukraine's failed counteroffensive, and Ukrainians continue suffering under missile strikes and drone attacks 24/7.
The recent NYT report, the article of Commander-in-Chief of the Ukraine’s Armed Forces in the Economist and Simon Shuster’s report in Time magazine, showed that Ukraine is somewhat stuck in a tranches war with Russia, losing its best officers in senseless battles. And the war that broke out in Israel and Gaza does not help in finding a fast solution.
So, let’s talk about the current situation. Is there a stalemate as Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi had put it in his essay? And does anyone has a clear answer on what would be an appropriate strategy for the victory, or – the end of the Russian invasion?
